Two Chinese universities, Tsinghua and Peking, make it onto a global list of the top 100 for the first time

singhua University was ranked 58th while Peking University landed at 71st on the Academic Ranking of World Universities, an index compiled by the independent Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, which started the list in 2003.
