Facing a shortage of local pilots amid a booming air travel industry, Chinese firms offer big salaries and perks to foreign talent

nalysts estimate that China's air traffic will grow nearly four-fold in the next 20 years, a demand that has airlines offering impressive job packages to foreign pilots because of a shortage of local talent. One contract from Qingdao Airlines tried to lure new employees with a salary of up to $318,000 and an agreement to pay Chinese income tax bills.
