With as many as 25 million victims, China begins to address the problem of sexual abuse of minors
An estimated 9.5 percent of girls and 8 percent of boys in China have been sexually abused, made vulnerable by limited legal protection, social stigmas and the practice by migrant-worker parents of leaving children in their hometowns when they go to seek work elsewhere.
