China will take a central role in Britain’s nuclear power industry after approval of a new station at Hinkley Point

he future of the nuclear power plant at Hinkley Point had become uncertain over concerns about Chinese involvement in a politically sensitive project, as well as the station's cost and safety. China General Nuclear will take a 33 percent stake in the project.
