To attract visitors, Chinese malls are investing in enclosures for wild animals that include Pizza, ‘the world’s saddest polar bear,’ as well as whales, walruses and wolves

izza, "the world's saddest polar bear," whose home is a shopping mall in Guangzhou, snared the world's attention when video showed her to be listless inside her enclosure. The animal is one of many purchased by Chinese shopping malls around the nation to fill in-house enclosures that investors hope will bring in more visitors.
