The world’s largest telescope, to be completed this week in Guizhou Province, will be able to look faster and further into the origins of the universe and the possibility of extraterrestrial intelligence
The $185 million telescope, called the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope, or FAST, is 1,640 feet wide and will begin operating on September 25.
