ocal police said a girl from the northeastern province of Heilongjiang, going by the psuedonym Chen Xin, tied up her mother and left her there until she died. Media reports stated that Chen attended an internet addiction treatment center, which is now under investigation for possible abuse of its students, a criticism often leveled against these types of facilities in the past.
