China’s economy shows improvement with signals on business confidence and factory activity

tandard Chartered's Small and Medium Enterprises Confidence Index rose to 56 in September from 54.9 in August. The China Satellite Manufacturing Index, which uses algorithms and commercial satellite imagery to review thousands of industrial facilities, rose to 50.2, the first reading above 50 since November 2014.
