A Dutch designer debuts the ‘Smog Free Tower’ in Beijing, capable of filtering a football stadium of air per day
With backing from China's Ministry of Environmental Protection, Daan Roosegaarde's pagoda-evoking tower, made in collaboration with Delft Technology University and European Nano Solutions, is going on a tour around China. "The goal is not only to offer a local, tangible solution to create clean parks, but also setting a new sense of beauty — a clean future — through the sensory experience of clean air," he said.
