A Pew survey finds that more Chinese view the U.S. favorably, though many see a threat and want more protection from foreign influence

alf of the Chinese respondents in the Pew Research Center's global attitudes survey held a favorable view of the U.S., compared with 44 percent in 2015, though more than three-quarters want to see less foreign influence.
