Xi’s anti-corruption campaign focuses on junior Communist Party officials as it reduces its takedowns of top-level ‘tigers’

rom late 2012 to August 2016, the Communist Party leveled graft punishments against 91,913 of its members, 80 percent of whom were the lowest level of officials. New rules expected to be released at next week's major meeting of the party will further intensify "intra-party supervision."
