China says property market regulations are calming the surge in home prices even as they rise 9.3 percent in September
In response to a rocketing property market, more than 20 cities implemented home-purchasing controls, mostly in September and October. Housing prices moderated in 15 of the metropolises, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, with one lead example being Beijing, where prices went up 1.2 percent in the first half of October, compared with a 4.9 percent gain in September.
