Chinese spend $1.7 billion on Apple apps and in-app purchases in the third quarter, taking over the United States’ position as the world’s largest market for the digital goods
The U.S. had been the largest buyer in the Apple app ecosystem since 2010, and 75 percent of China's spending came from games, according to a firm that analyzes the industry.
