As a reshuffle of China’s top leadership approaches, Xi calls for ‘unity’ and a ‘staunch’ belief in communism

n a speech to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Long March, President Xi Jinping said officials "must be staunch believers and loyal practitioners of communism in our new long march." His remarks came ahead of a meeting on Monday that will set the agenda for next year's 19th party congress, which will see a major changeover in the makeup of China's top leadership.
