17 killed in dragon boat race training in southern China

Seventeen people were killed after two dragon boats capsized during a practice run in Guilin, Guangxi, on April 21.

Fifty-seven people fell into the Taohuajiang River.

The cause of the accident remains unknown at this time. Two organizers were detained.
