Shuttlecock — a Chinese national sport!

If you have been to a local Chinese neighborhood, either in the U.S. or in China, you’ve probably encountered some seniors playing shuttlecock, which is jianzi (毽子 jiànzi) in Chinese. A simple yet challenging sport, it requires the player(s) to pass a bottom-weighted bouncy shuttlecock using only their feet. It is one of the most popular post-meal sports in China, and, trust me, it’s hard!
