Howie Southworth

Howie Southworth is a bestselling food author, photographer, and producer. In 2010, he and his creative partner, Greg Matza, started China Sauce Productions to house their collective interest in food media. They produced the web series Sauced in Translation to highlight the surprising similarities among world cuisines, and the film Mianzi: China Behind the Mask, among others. Most recently, they published the book Chinese Street Food: Small Bites, Classic Recipes, and Harrowing Tales Across the Middle Kingdom. Though Howie has called many destinations home, he and his family currently live in Barcelona, where he's engaged in some very serious food research.
