Xiao Meili 肖美丽 (real name Xiao Yue 肖月) is a Guangzhou-based graphic designer famous for her involvement in China’s modern feminist movement. She was recognized by Foreign Policy as one of its 100 Leading Global Thinkers, and was given the Role Model Award by UN Women. Since 2012, Xiao has initiated and organized many public events in protest of sexual violence and gender discrimination. She currently lives in Guangzhou.
